During the 1980's Leask Motors, Perry’s family business, imported Ohlins suspension, Husqvarna and Yamaha off road motorcycles. In 1997 when HMR Huskys finished 1st, 2nd & 3rd in the British Championships, Perry carried out suspension tuning and maintained all three bikes throughout the year.
